So what do you do to help your hair grow? Mine is too short to twist or maybe I am not patient enough. Can you share your wash, condition, comb regimen?
ReplyDeleteHI! Protective styles like braids, twists and even wigs can help your hair grow by keeping it from being damaged and overly handled. Moisturizing is key to prevent breakage and eating the right goods promotes growth as well. Check out my post entitled: Good Food = Good Hair.
ReplyDeleteSo I clean and condition it once or twice a week with tea tree shampoo and conditioner. If I'm wearing a fro for the week, I will spray my hair with apply cider vinegar and aloe vera juice (for moisture) and put a shower cap on all night. I do this 2 - 3 times a week. I use shea butter to seal in moisture of my fro or twists. If I twist my hair, then I just try to keep oil on it as necessary.
I used curly crèmes for the wash and go look. I'm exploring different ones right now. My favorite is Tahlia Waajid's curly curl crème.
Hope this helps!! My routine is pretty basic right now. But definitely effective!
